Andaman and Nicobar Islands dwellers have migrated and settled down from various parts of India and Burma as well. The culture of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is distinct and unique and comprises mainly two types of inhabitants-Indians and Natives. The former are mainly from the Indian Mainland especially from areas like Punjab, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
